Coffee Trainer & Consultant
Italy and abroad
What other coffee jobs have you had?
I was a coffee shop owner from 2005 to 2008 in Verona. From 2009 to 2012, I was Head Barista in another coffee shop in Verona, and since 2012, I have worked as a coffee trainer and consultant for few big roasteries in Italy, a few associations, and also for the SCAE as a trainer.
What’s your favorite part about working in coffee?
My favorite part is having contact with coffee people, talking about good coffee, and dreaming for a better coffee world for all!
Where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?
Well, really I don’t know! I prefer to think of my future in 3 to 4 years. I hope that a lot of coffee business people trust and respect me as a professional guy. In 10 years, maybe I will be with some top roastery, or at some farm retired from work altogether!
Who and what inspires you?
A lot of people everyday inspire me. All people I meet are part of my growing coffee world, so I need to thank everybody I can talk to who has interest in this. Also, my wife—she inspires me everyday.
What are you drinking right now?
I’m drinking a coffee of course! A Costa Rican from Taf Coffee Roasters—La Margarita Micromill Zalmari, Bourbon and Caturra, Red honey, amazing!
Crazy/memorable coffee experience you’d like to share?
The Barista & Farmer Project, for sure! It was one of best coffee experiences of my life. I met great people and got a really close look at the coffee cherries.
