On Sunday, we continued our extensive coverage of the Barista & Farmer project that took place for the first week of November in Puerto Rico. Barista & Farmer found 15 Italian baristas living and working at Hacienda San Pedro, a coffee farm where production and farming education was taught, and the baristas participated in challenges all week long. Find the post HERE.

After our exciting coverage of the Moscow Coffee and Tea Expo, which took place in early October, we featured a video on the blog on Monday where the entire event was summarized, including the exciting presenters such as Fritz Storm, Sonja Grant, Colin Harmon, and others. Find the post HERE.

We are super stoked to be the media sponsor of the newly formed Northwest Latte Art League, which had its second community gathering in Seattle on Saturday, November 9. On Monday, we featured a sort article from organizer Cole McBride about the successful event, as well as gorgeous photos by Hiroko Ebizaki. See the post HERE.

In our final Monday post, we featured the Barista & Farmer project in Puerto Rico as it came to a close, and the Italians reflected on what an amazing experience they had had at Hacienda San Pedro. See the post HERE.

On Tuesday, our friend Michael Butterworth contributed a great article about the super awesome and totally exciting Kentucky versus Tennessee Latte Art Throwdown that took place in Bowling Green on Thursday, November 7, which raised a bunch of money for charity. See the post HERE.

Wednesday was, of course, Humpday Giveaway time on Barista Magazine’s blog, and we excitedly watched as 87 readers entered to win a sweet set of latte art pitchers from Visions Espresso. Be sure to come back this week on Wednesday to play for another awesome prize! Find the post HERE.

We reveled the winner of the steaming pitchers on Thursday—look for a photo of our winner with her brand new pitchers coming this week! To see the post, go HERE.

We were delighted to feature the talented Ben Blake in a terrific article by Kelsey Snell on Friday. To see examples of Ben’s gorgeous coffee filter art—for which he has never taken payment! He just does it out of the kindness of his heart!—go HERE.

We wrapped up the week on Saturday with a big round of applause to our longtime friend Billy Wilson, who gave us a peek in the doors of his new BARISTA cafe—his fourth shop—located on Northwest 23rd in Portland, Oregon. Go HERE to see the post.
