Welcome to the New Year everybody, and welcome to another installment of BMag Back Atcha, our weekly catch-up post where we have everything we’ve posted over the last week in one helpful place.

As 2013 came to a close we spent some time going over the most popular posts we had over the year.

Next up was an interview with Counter Culture Coffee‘s Erin McCarthy who was at the time US Brewers Cup Champion but he went on to win the World Brewers Cup Championship in Melbourne, Australia in May.

2013 saw the start of Joyride Coffee Distributors who set out to make office coffee a whole lot better experience for folks who couldn’t get out of their office buildings for a coffee break. It too made our most popular article list.

Moving into the new year (and new content), Barista Magazine editor, Sarah Allen, went on a tour of Blue Bottle Coffee Roasters facility in Oakland, Calif. and filed this picture-heavy report.

The folks at Counter Culture released a new flavor wheel updating the standard SCAA version with new, more common tasting terms. It’s very cool, beautiful, useful and well worth a look!
