Publisher Kenneth R. Olson is headed to Colombia this weekend to conduct some research for an super interesting story we’re working on ”Ken’s been to Colombia a lot in the past: to cover the 2011 World Barista Championship, to visit farms, and to work with the FNC, the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, which is an organization we love and work closely with.
Ken’s super excited to be going back for another visit ”Colombia is such a gorgeous country, with so many exceptional coffees. And the work that the FNC does with farmers all the way to consumers is something we support big time.
What’s more, the FNC supports the barista community and offers educational outreach more than any other producing country ”just look at the Colombian Coffee Hub, the extraordinary interactive online education forum that is free to anyone in the world.
In 2013, the Colombian Coffee Hub hosted a series of amazing online lectures on such relevant topics as:
