We’re so excited for the debut of the United State Latte Art Championship, taking place April 24–26 in Seattle at SCAA, which will qualify an American to compete in the World Latte Art Championship, in Melbourne, Australia, May 15–18!
There is a lot going on in preparation for this big event, so we wanted to offer up some quick links to all the info:
OFFICIAL ESPRESSO MACHINE DALLA CORTE
This competition would not be happening at all without the amazing support and generosity (not just of money, but of time and energy) from Dalla Corte Espresso Systems, the Official Espresso Machine Sponsor of the World Latte Art Championship & the World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship—oh, and of course, the United States Latte Art Championship! Here’s a great interview with Sevan Istanboulian of Dalla Corte about how he and Skip Finley singlehandedly put the U.S. Latte Art Championship on the map. Read more about it HERE.
COMPETITOR REGISTRATION STILL OPEN!
RULES & REGULATIONS
For those of you familiar with Thursday Night Throwdowns and Coffee Fest Latte Art Competition-style brackets, let me tell you, the World Latte Art Championship format is a whole different creature. The rules are somewhat complicated, and it’s good to get acquainted with them, whether you’re a competitor or a spectator. So read all about them HERE.
OFFICIAL CUP SPONSOR ESPRESSO PARTS
The awesome folks at Espresso Parts make their own spectacular porcelain cups, which are the official cups of the U.S. Latte Art Championship! These are the official Latte Art Cups, and these are the official Macchiato Cups.
