The talented and wonderful photographer Kate Beard was one of only two allowed to shoot the final round of the UK Barista Championship on Sunday, April 6. She had a keen eye for Maxwell Colonna Dashwood’s performance in particular, perhaps recognizing winning characteristics of Maxwell’s presentation and personality: The co-owner of Colonna & Small’s in Bath, England, won the opportunity to represent his country at the World Barista Championship in Rimini, Italy, in June.
