Happy Humpday, everyone! We have once again made it to the middle of the week! That’s something to celebrate, right? We have a really fun prize for you this week ”seems like we always have cool coffee gadgets and tools to give away, which is terrific. But hey, when’s the last time we had some actual coffee for you?
Our friends at Spyhouse Coffee Roasting in Minneapolis, Minn., are all kinds of amazing: they buy and roast some pretty special coffees, and they have a widely recognized reputation for exceptional service and gorgeous cafes.
Spyhouse ”which was founded in 2000 ”tells its story best on the website: Founded by Christian Johnson, Owner/Director of Operations, Spyhouse began as a small, independent coffeehouse emphasizing mid-century design, exhibiting local artists, and encouraging social interaction. Over the years, attention to the quality of the craft of coffee took on a more dominant role, thus transforming Spyhouse to what it is today. The defining components to us are our passion for sourcing, roasting, brewing, and serving the customer an exceptional coffee, and educating that customer on the entire process ”from origin to consumption.
We’re pretty crazy about these guys. And I guess they think we’re kind of cool, too, since they were kind enough to send us a selection of dope coffees and a beautiful Ancap latte cup and saucer!
We nabbed one of the three coffees they sent us for ourselves ”the Ethiopia Borena… it’s BOMB. But we’re going to send the other two as well as the cup and saucer to the winner of this week’s Humpday Giveaway! Thank you, Spyhouse! These two outstanding coffees going out to the winner are Cajamarca Cenfro from Peru and Santiago Joven from Colombia. This is a prize package valued at $55!
