Dublin’s most famous barista, Colin Harmon, will be making several appearances around the United States this week in support of Nuova Simonelli’s hugely anticipated and much talked about new espresso machine, the Victoria Arduino Black Eagle, as well as Nuova Simonelli’s Mythos One grinder.

We're big Colin fans here at Barista Magazine, as evidenced by our December+January 2013 cover. He's a skilled and very thoughtful barista—I would take what he has to say about the Black Eagle very seriously.

The VA388 Black Eagle and the Mythos One have dates in four cities in the U.S., starting tomorrow in New York at Counter Culture Coffee’s Training Center in Soho from 3–6 p.m.

The tour continues on Wednesday in Kansas City at Kaldi’s new Regional Training and Community Coffee Center at 3 p.m.; and pops up in Seattle during the Specialty Coffee Association of America expo on Friday at Nuova Simonelli’s booth #4015. Finally, the team will stop in San Francisco at Blue Bottle on Tuesday, April 29.

All four dates boast Colin Harmon as the guest of honor. In Seattle, 2007 World Barista Champion James Hoffmann will join Colin for the presentation in Nuova Simonelli’s booth at SCAA.
