Denver’s Only Woman-Owned Roasting Co. to Open Retail, Hire Baristas

Copper Door Coffee Roasters ”Denver’s Woman-Owned Roasting Co. ”Seeks Funding Assist for Retail Space

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Hannah Ulbrich of Copper Door Coffee Roasters in Denver, Colorado, this past weekend when I was at Barista Nation Denver. Hannah stands apart from the masses for a lot of reasons, but a few very special ones: Copper Door is Denver’s only woman-owned specialty roaster, and she is committed to using 100 percent, locally produced wind power to operate her business, including her roaster.

An experienced roaster, Hannah owns Copper Door Coffee Roasters in Denver.

Currently, Copper Door is only available for wholesale and mail order ”which is great because folks love Hannah’s coffee. Her buying practices are ethical (she sources from some of the best and most respected importers) and she’s  a talented roaster (just ask her fans in Denver). But Hannah wants to serve the public, and that means opening a cafe of her own.

Hannah is asking for the coffee community’s help in getting her retail space funded and opened. Check out her Kickstarter HERE.

But there’s more: Hannah needs a staff of quality baristas to make exceptional coffee for her future customers. So if you’re looking for a barista gig in Denver, we urge you to get in touch. Just go to her website, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Contact us” button on the right.

We’re excited for the future of Copper Door Coffee Roasters ”we hope you are, too!
