Local Barista Gets Some Love

A young, local barista here in Portland, Oregon is opening his own shop, and he’s already drawing interest from the local media.

In a cool twist, the café will offer not just local favorite Stumptown, but have two rotating coffees available as well. To start with those coffees will be from Intelligentsia and Ecco.

You can read about the new shop here.

And if you’re in town for the USBC, next month, you can visit it yourself at 539 NW 13th Ave.

Here’s a picture of the barista in his younger days.
