Oh, Canada!

So President Obama made his first official visit to a foreign country today, choosing as his first stop Ottawa, seat of government for the country which shares with the US of A the longest unarmed border in the world among many other terrific things, such as the National Basketball Assciation (though the Toronto Raptors are having a bit of a tough year.)

But that’s not the real reason for this post. No, what turns my eye to Canada today is this great piece by Vancouver writer Sarah Buchanan called “Now’s No Time for Bad Coffee!” Just reading the subhead (a barista’s guide to cost-effective caffeinated comfort in the cup) sets you up to expect something pretty great, especially if you’re into alliteration. Check it out, I think you’ll enjoy it.
