USBC is here!

Ken and I just got back to the office from the Oregon Convention Center, where we dropped off the official USBC programs that Barista Magazine made, as the media sponsor of the United States Barista Championship. You can read it online by clicking the cover at Barista Magazine’s homepage, or grab your free copy at the event site.

The competition space looks KILLER — stadium seating and the bloggers’ booth are pretty sweet. What else to do with your time in Portland? How about a game of Hipster Bingo?

Uh, no? We feel ya. Good things there are zillions of activities and shops and sights to keep you busy when you’re not watching the competition. Check out Brent’s great list of all places, restaurants, etc. you might need, and stay tuned to usbc2009.com for more info and breaking news.

And stay tuned here, as well—I’ll be posting pictures as often as I can!
