Soren lives for barista competitions—he practiced for this moment for the last two years, ever since being bitterly disappointed by coming in 6th at the WBC in Copenhagen in 2008. And he’s done great work: his performance is intricate and detailed, beautiful and nuanced.

Soren's performance had an ethereal quality to it. He brought gorgeous pieces of wood and used them as stands, a native wood from Denmark.

I apologize for the fact that I had a difficult time understanding Soren, but I do know he explained quite a bit about his coffee and the specific farms from which they came.
