Friday, October 29

7 a.m.—Scavenger Hunt kick-off! Sarah Dooley of Espresso Parts and Mark Pfaff of Victrola Coffee have gone above and beyond in organizing what should be a totally fun and unique barista activity in the form of a good old fashioned scavenger hunt. Beginning at 7 a.m., scavenger hunters can pick up the scavenger hunt map at Victrola Coffee Roaster, 310 East Pike Street (VERY close to Convention Center). Maps can be picked up any time after 7 a.m. this day, and used to play through the end of the hunt, which concludes at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Anyone and everyone is invited to participate in the scavenger hunt, which will take participants around the town to various cafes where they must answer trivia questions. The person with the most correct answers on Saturday night, back at Victrola where the Brew Ha Ha party will be taking place, will be announced as the winner at the party! And they’ll receive some hecka cool prizes, of course.

8 a.m.–Noon—New World Latte Art Championship, taking place on the sky bridge inside the Washington State Convention Center. This competition pits a whopping 64 baristas in head-to-head combat, latte art style. Baristas are coming from all over the country, and heck, world, to participate in this high energy, fun milk free-for-all. To check out the lineup, go HERE and click on “Bracket is Here for 2010″.
