Tomorrow in Denver: Caffeine Crawl!

There's still time to sign up for the Denver Caffeine Crawl tomorrow!

It’s been a rough week in Colorado, where intense flash flooding in the Boulder area has been so severe that President Obama signed an emergency declaration last night to free up federal aid and allows the Federal Emergency Management Agency to coordinate disaster relief efforts.

Much of eastern and northern Colorado remains under a flash flood warning, meaning flooding is imminent or already reported, the National Weather Service said. The warning zone included the entire Denver/Boulder metropolitan area, where more than 3 million people live.

But there’s a calm right now in Denver, at least, by comparison. There’s some rain, and it’s 75 degrees F as I type this. Tomorrow ”Saturday ”is supposed to be even warmer, and also with a chance of showers.

Sounds like good coffee-drinking weather to me. Tickets are still available for the Denver Caffeine Crawl taking place tomorrow, which will take attendees on a tour of Denver’s popular cafes and chocolate shops, stopping for specially made espresso beverages and treats all along the way. With such a range of quality coffeehouses and sweet shops, this Caffeine Crawl offers many routes: three by chartered bus, two exclusively for bikes (a first in Caffeine Crawl history); and one for folks who prfer to drive themselves.

There are two starting time options: 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Here’s the list of participating shops, and the special education they’ll be offering tomorrow to Caffeine Crawl attendees:

Aviano Coffee : Achieving A Better Cup – Brewing Tips

Corvus Coffee Company : Roasting To Managing Coffee
