Happy Humpday, everyone! We’re halfway through the week, which means the countdown to some awesome coffee events is on: fall is always so great in the specialty-coffee industry, with Coffee Fest Seattle, the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Coffee Conference in Rhode Island, as well as the Big Central Regional Barista Competition, Barista Nation Kansas City, Host Milan, La Marzocco’s Out of the Box in Milan, and much more!

We’re bundling up as summer turns to autumn, and we’re excited for all the fun events that the autumn season brings!

Some things remain the same, however, such as Barista Magazine’s weekly blog contest, Humpday Giveaway, where anyone and everyone in the whole wide world of coffee is invited to play for a chance to win an awesome coffee tool or other coffee-related prize. Since we debuted this weekly contest last February, it’s gotten soooo popular ”you guys love it! And we’re so glad!

”Answers may be submitted between  7 a.m. PDT on Wednesday through 6:59 a.m. PDT on Thursday.

”The names of those who submitted the correct answer will be entered into a drawing, and Barista Magazine will randomly select one name, which will be announced on Thursday at 10 a.m. PDT right here on the Barista Magazine blog.

So it is not a certification, nor does it establish a set of standard norms.
