It’s hard to believe that Barista Nation Los Angeles was already four weeks ago! I had a lot of fun at the event, met some great people and caught up with others. The sessions and keynote by Kyle Glanville and Charles Babinksi were really engaging, and of course the food trucks and beer in the evening wrapped up a pretty great day! The team from UNIC led by Anastasia always does a bang-up job, and the host, Curtis, did a fantastic job turning their factory into a welcoming venue. We at Barista Magazine love being a sponsor of such a cool, coffee community-building endeavor.
Really, though, the whole thing seems like it could have been yesterday especially when watching this excellent video from LA Coffee Club which nicely encapsulates the spirit of the event.
Of course it’s also true that the next Barista Nation is just around the corner, just two weeks away! Seriously if you’re anywhere near Kansas City, Mo., you should register and attend on Monday, Nov. 4. It will be the first foray into the area for the event, and will definitely be worth checking out!
