We couldn’t be more excited to be heading out to Melbourne, Australia, in a few days for the World Barista Championship, held in conjunction with the Melbourne International Coffee Expo. Ken and I will arrive down under a few days early so we can take in the sights and visit as many of the city’s reputable cafes as we can before the WBC showdown begins on May 23!

We are super stoked to be a sponsor of the First Pour Latte Art Smackdown being organized by Veneziano Coffee Roasters and taking place at 26 Bond St., Abbotsford, on May 20.

Cafe Imports is hosting the event, and will be providing a crazy amazing bunch of coffees from U.S. roasters for the Aussie baristas in attendance to sample. Coffees from MadCap, Stumptown, Coava, Sightglass, Joe NY, HalfWit, and more will be on what is sure to be one of the most bitchen tables in Oz.
