Good Times in Minneapolis

I just got back from Coffee Fest Minneapolis, and had a great ol’ time with the fun coffee people out there. Here are some shots from the weekend. And please go to Barista Magazine’s Facebook page for many more photos!

At the Bull Run Roasting party on Friday night, Sammy Piccolo poses in a hot dog.
Sweetbird in the house, at Bull Run.
Ladies of Dillanos, just before winning prizes at Pacific Foods' Top Cup Challenge, on Saturday at Coffee Fest.
At the Angry Catfish party on Saturday night, there was a team competition -- super fun, too. We had to identify shapes of producing countries, names of espresso blends for international coffee companies, pour latte art (yo, I didn't do that part), and identify three cups of coffee by origin. My team was Team Sam Berndt!
Competitors at the New World Latte Art Competition, where Christopher Nicely Alameda was the big winner of the weekend! Nice, Nicely!

Now please go to Barista Magazine’s Facebook page for even more shots from this super fun weekend!!
