Hello and welcome! You’ve found BMag Back Atcha our weekly round up of all our blog activity from the week that was. It’s your one-stop shop for all the links on the blog this week, so without further delay, let’s get reviewing!
First up we had a story by Jeremy Martin about our friends at Ceremony Coffee Roasters in Annapolis, Maryland and their new Rorschach Espresso Project, which was designed to pair classic espresso blends with single origin filter roasts in a 50/50 blend that allows the espresso to take on new flavors, textures, and identities.

Next up was a story about Bjørg Brend (one of the key organizers and driving forces behind what was among the most innovative coffee events in the world, the Nordic Barista Cup) and her new podcast called œCoffee Awesome.

The Embarcadero in San Francisco got some new residents this week as long-time coffee pro Gabriel Boscano opened his new shop there, Paramo Coffee Roasters. We love their philosophy ( œbe nice to people ”pretty simple), and can’t wait to get down there for a visit!

Meanwhile in the middle of the country, there’s a lot going on in Missouri right now too!
Sadie Colwell has the story out of Kansas City, Mo. about the third annual JamJam, which sounds like a simply awesome event! It’s got coffee, music, drinks and loads of community. We’d love to see this model take off everywhere! Give it a read right here:

Across the Show Me State, it’s the first-ever Coffee Fest St. Louis! There is so much going on in coffee in this part of the country. We appreciate that Coffee Fest made the great decision to book a show here so that Barista Magazine had a great excuse to fly out and meet the great baristas and cafe owners here!
Coffee Fest St. Louis is On!
On Saturday, Jeremy Martin brought us the story of a mutliroaster coffee service from Flatlands Coffee that is currently on Kickstarter. seeking funding.
He writes, “Many of us who have a passion for specialty and small batch coffees have made it one of our life’s goals to spread our enthusiasm to as many people as possible. We write blog articles, share bags of our favorite roasts with friends and family, and in some cases, leave business school and a promising career path behind to open a third-wave concept café in our small Midwestern hometown.” Read the whole thing here:
