The third-annual Cherry Roast in Denver crowned Abi Forgath of Loyal Coffee the winner after five rounds of tasting and brewing.

Abi Forgath of Loyal Coffee is your 2017 Cherry Roast winner! They beat out over 30 competitors to claim the title, going through five rounds of competition, including an intense triangulation, an impromptu brew down, and a final signature drink round where finalists had to make a drink with coconut whipped cream, gooseberries, and turmeric popcorn.

Below are some of the highlights from the gender-inclusive competition, aimed at making competition accessible for baristas in all aspects of the community. The competition celebrates diversity, inclusion, and having a good time!
