Coffee companies to help raise money for MyMusicRx, a healing music program for kids with cancer

Portland, Ore.-based Stumptown Coffee Roasters is playing a big role in a fundraising effort happening tomorrow ”Valentine’s Day ”for Children’s Cancer Association’s MyMusicRx program. With the help of Stumptown’s national sales team and through the leadership of Stumptown VP, Matt Lounsbury, a board member of CCA and catalyst for this campaign, 60 craft businesses across the country will be donating on Sunday, February 14, to MyMusicRx. Participating coffee companies in the fundraiser include Chrome Yellow Trading Co. in Atlanta, Nossa Familia in Portland, Silkespresso in Gresham, Ore., Sisters Coffee Co. in Portland, and more.
Since 1995, MyMusicRx has served nearly 150,000 children along with their families, caregivers, and medical professionals. MyMusicRx digital programs are available daily to 5,000 children in 20 pediatric hospitals across the country and growing.
