Coffeelandia ”a block party of outrageousness including sumo wrestling, coffee booze, latte art, and great local music ”was one of the most epic most epic SCAA parties that ever was when it took over the streets of Portland, Ore., during the SCAA Expo in 2012. And now the Oregon Coffee Board, which promotes specialty coffee for the good of the whole state, is bringing it back, this time bigger and better than ever.
Coffeelandia, part deux, will take place on May 30 in the great, caffeinated city of Portland, Ore. Anyone and everyone who enjoys things like A. Fun, B. Coffee, C. Beer, D., Music, or E. More Fun, is invited to attend. This is worth driving across state lines, people!
The Oregon Coffee Board organizers are teaming with Portland Global Initiatives to host this event, which will take over a city block at SE 7th and Oak starting at 5 p.m. on Monday. For the $10 entry fee, attendees can enjoy samples of amazing coffee beers and coffee liquors, dance the day and night away to the tunes of Coronation, Mother Tapes, DJ Queasy, and Hustle + Drone, watch some of the best baristas in the area face off in a latte art throwdown, and much more!
