Cold Brew Throwdown in ATL on Friday!

1st International Cold Brew Throwdown to Take Place in Atlanta During SCAA

We’re so super stoked to be hosting the 1st International Cold Brew Throwdown on Friday, April 15, in Atlanta! The throwdown will take place during a party that Barista Magazine is co-hosting with Stumptown Coffee and Rogue Ales at Chrome Yellow Trading Co. in Atlanta.

PARTY!

So what’s a cold brew throwdown, you ask? Part of the reason latte art throwdowns are fun is that the audience can get involved, leaning over the counter and saying (yelling) which pour is their favorite. Well, with the cold brew throwdown, we wanted it to be even more interactive ”we wanted the crowd to be able to not only taste the drinks, but vote on their favorites!

15 competitors have been practicing and brewing getting ready for tomorrow night’s event, and we invite YOU to come and be the judge!

Each competitor will have a station where they’ll prepare and serve samples of their cold brew and a cold brew signature drink to a panel of judges, as well as  you, the crowd! You’ll be given a ballot so you can vote on which is your favorite cold brew and your favorite signature drink.

The Cold Brew Throwdown  will take place between 7 and 8 p.m. at Chrome Yellow! Our party kicks off at 5:30, so if you want to show up early and have a beer, by all means, join us.
