Our hearts go out to Rhett Harkins of Bloc Coffee Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio: on a hiking trip in the Red Roiver Gorge recently, Rhett slid on 15 feet of hidden ice. He tumbled over a cliff more than 60 feet, and has sustained some pretty severe injuries. It took a whopping 10 hours just to get him out.
His friends at Deeper Roots Coffee came together in an effort to raise money for his medical expenses with a Barista Throwdown on Thursday at their roasters in Mt. Healthy.
