Give it up for Saturday! THE GUIDE

The Activities Hall hosts the USBC, US Brewers Cup, US Cup Tasters Challenge, the Latte Art Exhibition, and the BGA Café.

Can you believe it’s Saturday already? We sure can’t. This SCAA show is going fast! But there’s still tons to see and do! And a lot of competition excitement to be a part of!

Here’s what we think would be some fun stuff to do today!

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Stop by the  Barista Nation Pop-Up Cafe  to get some awesome coffee and hear industry leaders speak on timely coffee topics! For all the details and a schedule of speakers, go  HERE! 2nd floor of Expo Center, North Lobby

9 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Cup of Excellence Open House! One of everyone’s favorite organizations, the Cup of Excellence invites you to its Open House in Room 257B. Come talk to organizers, board members, and judges about how to get involved! Or just come say hi!  

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.:  United States Barista Championship Semifinal Round!  

10 a.m. to 12 p.m.:  U.S. Latte Art Exhibition Final Round!

11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: The SCAA show floor is open! Come visit Barista Magazine’s booth #797 to take advantage of the special deals we’re offering on subscriptions!

12 p.m.: Awards Ceremony: U.S. Latte Art exhibition!

12 “3 p.m.: U.S. Brewers Cup Final Round!

5:30 p.m.:  Announcement of the finalists in the United States Barista Championship!

5 “9 p.m.: Cafe Imports, La Marzocco,  George Howell Coffee, and barismo  invite you to their party! It’s happening just 2 blocks from the convention center, at 281 Summer Street on the 7th Floor.

7 p.m.:  Roasters Guild Party hosted by Roast Magazine!  This annual gathering is always one of the best parties of the weekend! Head over to Brandy Pete’s, 267 Franklin St., and get your grub and beer on!
