Summary of Position:
The Allegro Coffee Venue Team Leader will play a key role in managing daily operations consistent with Allegro and 365 store strategy while integrating location specific needs. Cultivates a welcoming environment serving as a gathering place that consistently delivers the highest quality coffee and other beverages with unparalleled customer service. Capitalize on opportunities to build sales & profits and manage daily operations that support continuous improvement.
Job duties:
Work cooperatively with RCC to establish annual plans and budget for Coffee Venue and ensure revenues, expenses and margins are on target each period.
Perform tasks associated with the job including purchasing, receiving, invoice handling, inventory and margin reconciliation.
Develop positive working relationship with 365 team.
Interview, hire and train team members to sustain high performance and minimize turnover.
Perform all aspects of managing an Allegro Coffee Venue including:
Manage and execute weekly schedule
Ensure Allegro Coffee Venue meets all Health Department and Food Safety Standards including equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Daily cash register operations and cash count.
Implement promotional programs.
Conduct team member job dialogues.
Requirements:
Proven successful café or restaurant management and team member training
Knowledge of coffee, tea, beer/wine bar, quality standards and equipment.
Proven analytical ability and proficiency in math sufficient to calculate margins, monitor profitability and manage inventory.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Must be outgoing, and have excellent communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to perform physical requirements of position
Proper use of box cutter and other opening devices.
Ability to work well with others.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights and weekends as required.
Working conditions:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
