In 2013, the Allegro Coffee Roasters (ACR) brand was introduced to build a new coffee culture for Whole Foods Market.
This isn’t grocery store coffee anymore. We plan to run the best coffee bars in the country, and are looking for the right people to help us do it. So bring your ideas,spirit, and love for coffee to the table. Work with folks who share all of those things and want to do something more than just the status quo.
Job Summary and Mission: This position contributes to ACR’s success as a sales and brand ambassador who’s mission is to generate excitement, brand awareness and to drive sales. The position is responsible for performing product demonstrations to team members and consumers, educating consumers, taking part or organizing special events, and merchandising our products.
Key Responsibilities include coordinating with Store Team Leaders for Merchandising time windows, identify issues or opportunities within the stores, schedule and perform product demonstrations, assist with special events to engage and educate consumers on products and stimulate sales.
Experience needed for Success: Retail business or grocery store experience with strong understanding of store operations from a leadership perspective, Experience with specialty products with Specialty Coffee a plus!, Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
