And just like that, April’s over ”it’s hard to believe! This year is buzzing by pretty quickly ”it’s almost time to break out the cold brew! But not quite: we still have some chilly, cloudy mornings ahead before it’s full-fledged summertime ”which is why this week’s prize for Humpday Giveaway is especially cool! Our buddies at Coava Coffee Roasters here in Portland, Ore., are putting the final touches on their second cafe, which is set to open any day now. (Keep an eye out for a big article with photos right here on Barista Mag’s blog when it opens its doors!) Coava’s Matt Brown gave us something totally rad to give away for this week’s Humpday Giveaway: a set of four custom diner mugs, perfect for wrapping your hands around on chilly spring mornings.

If you can’t be here in Portland when Coava opens the doors to its new cafe in Southeast Portland, you can play along at home with these gorgeous, rough-and-tough mugs.

So let’s get to the trivia contest so we can figure out who’s going to win these bad boys! And yep, the generous guys at We just need to review the rules and give you the question. So without further ado, let’s go!

Humpday Giveaway Rules

”Answer the trivia question by referencing the  current issue of Barista Magazine. You can look at the whole issue for free online by going  HERE.

”Leave  your answer  plus your  FIRST and LAST names, as well as  your country of residence, in the blog comments section.  

”Answers may be submitted between  7  a.m. PDT on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, through 6:59 a.m. PDT on Thursday, May 1, 2014.

”The names of those who submitted the correct answer will be entered into a drawing, and  Barista Magazine  will randomly select a name, which will be announced on  Thursday, May 1, 2014  at 10 a.m. PDT right here on the  Barista Magazine  blog.
