Welcome to Wednesday on the BMag blog, or as we like to call it: Humpday! Yes, we’re halfway through the week, so why not play another round of Humpday Giveaway where you can win some totally awesome coffee gear!
It was big week for Taf Coffee from Athens, Greece at the World of Coffee in Rimini, Italy. Stefanos Domatiotis multi-time Greek barista champion (and cover feature for the June + July 2013 issue of Barista Magazine) turned his talents to the World Brewers Cup and walked away with the first-place trophy. Meanwhile his fellow TAF barista and 2011 World Latte Champion Christos Loukakis finished third in the World Barista Championship the highest finish ever for a Greek barista! But that’s not all, Taf’s owner Yiannis Taloumis was awarded the lifetime achievement award from the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe!
That’s quite a prestigious trifecta for Taf, and we’re happy to help them celebrate! So for this week’s Humpday prize we have a Taf t-shirt and custom cupping spoon up for grabs! (Please note, the t-shirt is only available in size L. If it doesn’t fit you, hopefully it will fit someone you know!) The great news about this week’s prize is that we can send it anywhere in the world! So no matter where you’re from you’ve got a chance to win!
