Welcome to Humpday Giveaway #71!
Barista Magazine’s weekly trivia contest for fun and prizes!
Happy Humpday, y’all! Hope you’re having a fabulous week. Can you believe it’s almost the end of July already? That’s crazy! Summer is just flying by, and with it, Wednesdays. Hard to believe we’ve been doing Humpday Giveaway ”where we give one of our readers an awesome coffee prize every week just for playing our fun little trivia question ”for a year and a half!
To celebrate summer, we want to encourage you to get out there and drink some yummy cold brew. (Psst! Have you been reading our summer series on cold brew coffee?) This week’s prize is just the vessel you need for that cold brew. The best part? It works great for hot beverages, too. The best, best part? It’s good for the planet, yo!
It’s KeepCup’s beautiful glass coffee cup in a size small, which holds eight ounces of deliciousness. We love KeepCup: They make gorgeous products that really inspire people to hang onto the cup and become a reuser. Ever notice how travel mugs and cups are usually really ugly? Well, KeepCups are the opposite! Just look at this thing!
Oh, did I forget to mention that this KeepCup is a limited edition World Coffee Events 2014 edition? We brought three of them back from the World Barista Championship in Rimini, Italy, earlier this summer just so we could offer them as Humpday Giveaway prizes. We’ve already given one away, and now we’re offering this one. And then there’s just one more left…
OK, already! Let’s get to playing! Oh, but first, let’s rundown the rules:
Humpday Giveaway Rules
”Answer the trivia question by referencing the current issue of Barista Magazine (June + July 2014). You can look at the whole issue for free online by going HERE.
”Leave YOUR ANSWER plus your FIRST and LAST NAMES, as well as YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, in the blog comments section.
”Answers may be submitted between 7 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, through 6:59 a.m. PDT on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
”The names of those who submitted the correct answer will be entered into a drawing, and Barista Magazine will randomly select a winner, which will be announced on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. PDT right here on the Barista Magazine blog.
Ok, so now the big question:
Question: Approximately how many cafés are there in Downtown Montreal?
Think you know the answer? Then type it into the comments section below (along with your first and last names and country of residence)! And you’ll have a shot at winning this week’s prize!
Good luck and thanks for playing Barista Magazine ˜s Humpday Giveaway!
