When Dalla Corte debuted its EVO2 Blackboard Espresso Machine, we simultaneously swooned and smacked our head in a why-didn’t-I-think-of-that way. It’s absolutely brilliant ”and we don’t throw that word around lightly.

Eight people (first come, first served) will compete in "Make It Your Own" in Seattle during SCAA: They'll create art on Dalla Corte's EVO2 Blackboard Espresso Machines, competing to win $500 and to have their creation featured in Barista Magazine!

Baristas are creative by nature, so giving them a surface on which to design, doodle, imagine, and create in the form of an erasable blackboard surface on the side of a boutique  Dalla Corte espresso machine was nothing less than a stroke of genius.

Not only can baristas create works of art on the side of the machine, they can list the cafe’s daily food specials, coffee promotions, or even the name of the barista on bar that day.

The sides and back of the Dalla Corte EVO2 Blackboard Espresso Machine are essentially canvases for baristas (or anyone really) to showcase their creativity.
