Meet the Champions at HOST!

When I was 10, I wrote into Tiger Beat Magazine for the chance to win a phone call from Kirk Cameron, and I won. Ohmygodohmygodohmygod I was so excited. I was so nervous! When he finally called, on a break from the show he starred in, which was my total have, “Growing Pains,” I could hardly breathe, much less make witty and adorable enough banter with Kirk to make him want to marry me (that was the goal, I think). Needless to say, it didn’t go well.

You guys, on the other hand, are totes mature and poised, so you wouldn’t let an opportunity to meet one of your idols go to waste, right?

So how would you like to meet and talk with Pete Licata, World Barista Champ, and/or Matt Perger, the Australian champ who placed second behind Pete?

Well now you can. Our friends at Mahlkönig, the Official Grinder Sponsor of the WBC, and whose equipment Matt and Pete chose to use in competition, is offering attendees of the HOST Milan show, which kicks off on Friday, the chance to meet these dreamboats.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to meet your idols, at Host Milan this week!
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet your idols, at Host Milan this week!

At the Hemro stand (and Hemro includes Mahlkönig, Ditting, Anfim, and Eldom), Pavilion 11, Booth T40/U39, Pete and Matt will be making special guest appearances to talk with their fans. So you can meet them then. OR you could win a one-on-one conversation with one of them!! How dreamy!!!

Everyone who signs-in for the events and will be present in Milan will take part in a drawing for two exclusive one to one chats with our champions (one with Pete, one with Matt).  The two winners will be drawn on Friday, October 18  and will be named on Mahlkönig’s Facebook page. Details will be arranged via email.

Matt Perger, who famously used the EK43 grinder in Melbourne at the WBC, will appear on Saturday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pete Licata, who let the K30 Twin lead him to victory at the WBC, will appear on Sunday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bring your autograph books!
