If you answered yes and yes, then you’ve got an awesome night in store for you tomorrow — Thursday — at El Diablo Coffee Co., 1811 Queen Anne Ave. North, in Seattle, when the latest Northwest Cup Tasters League event kicks off at 7 p.m. sharp.
Barista Magazine is super honored to be a part of the Northwest Cup Tasters League and support the efforts of the awesome coffee professionals who turn out to test their palates and learn from one another at these super fun events. Big ups to David Yake of Tony’s Coffee for spearheading organization of the events, too!
A whopping 16 tasters will go head-to-head tomorrow at El Diablo. Want to be one of them? Then show up early with your $5 buy-in in hand. Sign up is on a first come, first served basis.
El Diablo is providing empanadas and beer, too ”how generous and nice is that? And competitors can look forward to great prizes from Bonavita, including immersion droppers and a variable temperature kettle, and W. Wright Silver Co., who will provide the winner with a custom engraved cupping spoon.
The last Northwest Cup Tasters League competition was held at Morsel last November, and it was super fun. Tomorrow’s event is sure to be just as rad!
