The Athens Coffee Festival is back for another amazing event! From September 23 to 25, thousands of coffee professionals, home baristas, and coffee enthusiasts will gather at Technopolis in Athens for the seventh incarnation of the city’s biggest coffee celebration. Organized by FORUM S.A., in collaboration with SCA Greece and NOYNOY BARISTA’S GOLD, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever! So what can visitors expect from this year’s festival? What’s Brewing at the Athens Coffee Festival?

Ever since the Athens Coffee Festival’s debut in 2016, over 130,000 passionate coffee professionals and aficionados seeking the finest brews have flocked to the event. This year, the festival will once again bring together renowned coffee brands, thrilling coffee championships, enlightening seminars by coffee experts, and, of course, an abundance of delightful coffee surprises!

Visitors will experience a range of unique coffee activities and indulge in exceptional coffee varieties from Vietnam, Indonesia, Panama, Brazil, Honduras, Guatemala, Kenya, and Ethiopia, while learning valuable coffee tips from award-winning baristas. The festival is set to become a must-visit destination, with over 25,000 coffee lovers and industry experts anticipated to join.

The Athens Coffee Festival is not just an amazing celebration of coffee, but also a trend-setting event. Coffee industry professionals will get to see new and innovative products that can make a real difference to their businesses and help upgrade the offerings they provide to customers. More specifically, visitors will have the chance to explore espresso blends, single-origin coffees, capsule or pod options, Greek coffees, and green coffees, as well as espresso machines, grinders, blenders, mixers, brew bars, extraction systems, serving accessories, and consumables.

Furthermore, visitors will enjoy an assortment of natural soft drinks, teas, juices, and chocolates, plus browse through a selection of ready-to-drink beverages and enticing coffee cocktails.

National Coffee Championships

Top baristas, brewers, and roasters will gather to compete at the Hellenic Coffee in Good Spirits, Roasting, Ibrik & Latte Art Championships 2024, organized by SCA Greece, while the sixth Hellenic AeroPress Championship 2023, organized by Kudu Coffee Roasters, will also take place during the festival.

Competitors will vie for the chance to represent Greece at the prestigious World AeroPress Championship and the SCA’s World Coffee Championships. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to observe and glean insights from coffee experts.

Coffee Masterclasses

Over 45 coffee experts, including top-notch baristas and industry executives, will come together for the festival’s Coffee Masterclasses. They will delve into significant topics such as advancements in processing, the significance of sample roasting, innovations in coffee machines and equipment, the rise of micro-roasters, and much more.
