Sarah Dooley and the crew at Visions Espresso in Seattle have done a spectacular job with the Coffee Enhancement Lounge, which I finally got to see in person last weekend when I went to Seattle for a Jam that Sarah had organized in the space. It’s small but super efficient, with sleek counter tables that can be moved around the room to brewing stations (it’s tricked out with an Aurelia, a Linea, a GS/3, a Clover, a Synesso, and lots more). She designed the quietly stylish space around a swatch of swank wallpaper that is an antique-y blend of navy and sage brown. It’s awesome. See it for yourself!
And the jam was pretty great, too. The group was small but uber geeky, and so predictably, the conversations were pretty far out there, and everyone seemed stimulated. We’ll feature some more news from the jam, as well as the Smackdown at Victrola that followed that evening in the next issue of Barista Mag, but here are some photos to give you an idea of what went down…
Very cool. Kudos to Sarah for putting on such a great event!
