Noma Restaurant Launches Monthly Coffee Subscription

Copenhagen, Denmark’s world-renowned restaurant noma has announced the launch of their monthly coffee subscription: Noma Kaffe. Every month, subscribers will receive two bags of coffee beans, roasted by the noma team themselves.

Bean Voyage Expands Farmer School for Resilient Communities

Odeko Raises $126 Million in Series E Funding to Empower Independent Food Businesses

Odeko, a technology platform for small coffee shops and other independent food businesses, has raised $126 million in Series E funding to expand its services. The company, which has over 14,000 customers, has helped coffee businesses like Go Get ‘Em Tiger, Gregorys, and Blank Street expand their presence—and they hope to continue to expand their reach.

The Coffee Science Foundation Partners with University of California, Davis to Explore Green Coffee Defects
The Coffee Science Foundation (CSF) and University of California, Davis have launched a new research initiative aimed at determining detection thresholds for relevant physical defects in green coffee samples from Brazil and Guatemala.
“The UC Davis Coffee Center has extensive experience in both post-harvest processing and sensory detection, which are the key disciplines relevant to this research,” says CSF Executive Director Peter Giuliano. “We are excited to partner with them on this potentially transformative research.”
