Man oh man, has the Brewers Cup competition grown by leaps and bounds in the mere three years it’s been around or what? In the United States, we’ve enjoyed six exciting Regional Brewers Cup competitions this year, which have done nothing but show me how popular and relevant this coffee contest is. The six Regional Brewers Cup Champs will come together with an outstanding line-up of other competitors at the United States Brewers Cup competition in Boston at the SCAA this week.
The winner of this year’s United States Brewers Cup will travel to Melbourne, Australia, to represent the U.S. in the World Brewers Cup Championship. In 2012, U.S. Brewers Cup Champ Andy Sprenger missed winning the World championship by only half a point! So the United States has quite a reputation for excellence.
NOTES:
¢ Round 1 is the compulsory round, in which all competitors use the same mystery coffee.
