Well it’s finally here. The first-ever WBC held in producing country is officially underway. The competition began at eight this morning and is scheduled to run through five this evening with 27 national champions taking the stage.
Though the ExpoEspeciales trade show hasn’t opened yet, there are still quite a few people already here and the stands are filling up.
Zachary Carlson from sprudge.com and Four Barrel is here running the online stream of the event so you don’t have to miss a minute of action no mater where in the world you are.
And while the baristas on stage are always so cool, calm and collected, the backstage prep area is a non-stop blur of commotion.
All in all, through six competitors the 2011 WBC seems to be off to a great start.
